Her tweet became controversial after she expressed disappointment with Mumbai’s ban on meat. Not one to shy from expressing herself, Sonakshi took to Twitter after Mumbai’s civic body, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation proposed a four-day ban on meat observing the Jain festival of fasting.
She tweeted “This is a free country! Welcome to BAN-istan… I meant india.. Stupid autocorrect.
In return people replied ” chup kar moti”. ( shut up you fatty)
