Maria Sharapova fails in drugs test banned for two years

Maria Sharapova has been banned for two years by the international tennis federation for consuming prohibited/failed drugs, which has been banned backdated to 26 January 2016. She will going to appeal for her suspension because of drugs she took unintentionally.

The Russian player was exactly hand-tied in March when test came positive for Meldonium at January’s Australian Open.

She didn’t lose hope and is rigid towards making the point of her unintentional backdrop. “I intend to stand for what I believe is right and because of which I will fight to be back on the tennis ground as soon as possible. I will immediately appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, ” The five-time Grand Slam winner says.
