Amazon launches pop-up loft to accelerate its growth in India

Amazon recently launched a data center in India and it seems they are now preparing to open a Loft Pop-up in Bangalore. What exactly is a pop-up Loft, one wonders?

In essence, it is a large office that provides network services and consulting related to Amazon Web Services (AWS) to anyone who needs it. Anyone can walk in any time and discuss the technical details, offers AWS, etc., with a member of the technical team of AWS. The service is usually free.

They also offer office space in some cases. These Lofts are also hosts of technical Bootcamps, workshops that offer training and practical exercises, for a fee.

Emerging Lofts can be temporary or permanent depending on the demand in the region. Andy Jassy has been put in charge of AWS ‘infrastructure business-as-a-service. The Economic Times reports that the business is earning $ 10 billion a year, with a margin of over 24 percent.
