Recent allegations of Cynthia has shaken the politics of Pakistan
Cynthia D Richie accused former Pakistan Prime Minister, Yusuf Raza Gilani of groping her and former Interior Minister, Rehman Malik of raping her. Earlier on May 28, she alleged that former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto used to order her guards to rape women with whom her husband’s had affair. These allegations have shaken the politics of Pakistan especially the Pakistan People’s Party.
Yusuf Raza Gilani and Rehman Malik have denied the allegations. The Pakistan People’s Party has demanded an investigation for Cynthia’s allegation by the Federal Investigation Agency. PPP called the allegations of Richie against the Bhutto and his husband Asif Ali Zardari “very derogatory and slanderous remarks”.
The serious allegation to a party which has big names associated with it like Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has shaken the party. People who do not like the PPP are savouring the moment while people who support it are asking who is Cynthia D Richie?

Who is Cynthia D Richie?
Cynthia D Richie, who even trended on Twitter in India calls herself a blogger, filmmaker and a social media enthusiast. She has been residing in Pakistan for almost 10 years. Her Facebook page bio suggests that she hails from Louisiana, US. She studied Strategic Public Relations at George Washington University, Psychology at Pepperdine University and Pre-Law/Criminal Justice at Louisiana State University.
Her bio tells that she works at “A Different Lens Production”, a filmmaking company. When we checked the Facebook page of this company, it had some short videos from the Swat Valley of Pakistan.
We also tried to find her blog on the Internet but were not able to find anything. Cynthia’s Twitter bio says that she is a writer for ETribune, The News Int’l, South Asia Magazine.
Cynthia in her interview with a Pakistani Magazine “Thexpatt” said that she has been visiting Pakistan since 2010 in the wake of floods funded by the Pakistani-Americans.
The magazine described Cynthia as a ‘unique cocktail of insight, expertise and sheer talent’ and said that she has been reshaping perceptions between the people of the US and Pakistan.
A Pakistani TV Host Ali Saleem revealed that Cynthia Dawn Ritchie had told him that Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan liked her and offered to have sexual intercourse with her. He revealed that both were so close to each other that they shared rooms for several days.
