Actor Kollam Sudhi was killed in a road accident at Thrissur's Kaipamangalam. The 39-year-old actor was traveling in a car that collided with a truck at Panambikunnu, near Kaipamangalam, Thissur, Kerala.

A Huge Loss For The Entertainment Industry: Actor Kollam Sudhi Killed in Accident


Actor Kollam Sudhi was killed in a road accident at Thrissur’s Kaipamangalam. The 39-year-old actor was traveling in a car that collided with a truck at Panambikunnu, near Kaipamangalam, Thissur, Kerala. This incident took place at 4.30 a.m and resulted in critically injuring Sudhi who was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately could not be saved and succumbed to his injuries. He had suffered a severe head injury and died at a private hospital in Kodungallur. 

He was traveling with three other television artists Ullas Arur, Binu Adimaly, and Mahesh. The group was returning from a program at Vadakara and the other artists also sustained injuries.   

The police told PTI, “It was a head-on collision. All of them were taken to the hospital but Sudhi lost his life. The other three are undergoing treatment.”

Who was Actor Kollam Sudhi?

Sudhi was a popular actor who mainly worked in the Malayalam Film Industry. He had acted in more than 10 movies and was extremely popular for his mimicry and comedy roles. He made his debut in 2015 with the movie Kanthari, which was directed by Ajmal. He has also appeared in movies such as Escape, Swargathile Katturumbu Kollam, Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan, and Kuttanadan Marppappa.

Born in 1984 the actor was fondly known as Sudhi Chetta and his journey in the creative world had begun when he was only 16 years old. Even at that age, he had an affinity for shows, skits, and comedy performances and could often be seen performing at events. 

He had also participated in the Flowers Star Magic show which helped him gain a lot of popularity. He was a well-known mimicry artist whose impersonation of actor Jagadeesh was incredible.

His death is a great loss to the entertainment industry and his fans have been deeply saddened by his demise.
