Justin Bieber Creates Music Apart from Manager Scooter Braun; Artist Departures Continue.

Justin Bieber works on music separately from manager Scooter Braun; Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato also leave Braun's management.

Justin Bieber reportedly working on new music separately from longtime manager Scooter Braun; recent artist departures raise speculation.

Pop icon Justin Bieber is reportedly venturing into new musical territory without his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, according to a recent report from PEOPLE magazine. While Bieber, aged 29, remains “managed” by Braun, sources have disclosed that the two have not been in contact for nearly a year. Speculation about the split initially emerged through Puck News.

Insiders shared that Bieber has been diligently crafting fresh music for the past six months, during which time Scooter Braun and his SB Projects have not been involved in the creation of his upcoming record. This apparent estrangement indicates that the partnership between Bieber and Braun has reached its natural conclusion.

Interestingly, this development comes on the heels of notable artist departures from Braun’s management roster. Ariana Grande, who had collaborated with Braun for a decade, has decided to embark on a different professional path. An insider close to the situation revealed that while the relationship remains amicable, Grande has simply outgrown the partnership and is eager to explore new horizons.

Likewise, Demi Lovato recently severed ties with Scooter Braun after a four-year affiliation. Negotiations regarding the split are in progress due to contractual obligations, and a source familiar with the situation clarified that Braun’s SB Projects is still assisting both Bieber and Ariana Grande during this transitional period.

The inception of Braun’s connection with Bieber dates back to the singer’s discovery at the age of 13 through YouTube. Over the years, their rapport evolved into a unique bond that resembled more of an unclely or fatherly relationship than a traditional manager-artist dynamic. Braun’s influence expanded beyond managing Bieber, as he established SB Projects—a powerhouse in talent management—representing an array of prominent artists across the music landscape.
