After two years of launching her restaurant Sona in New York, Priyanka Chopra has decided to step away from the venture. A spokesperson confirmed the news, stating that Priyanka has relinquished her partnership at Sona. However, the restaurant, known for its diverse Indian flavours, will continue operating under the guidance of its co-founder Maneesh K. Goyal.
Maneesh acknowledged Priyanka’s significant contribution to the restaurant’s creative direction, mentioning that she was the driving force behind its concept. He expressed gratitude for her support and partnership while clarifying that although she won’t be involved as a creative partner moving forward, she will always be part of the Sona family. Both parties are looking forward to new chapters in their respective journeys.
