A little backstory: Sunil Grover was part of Kapil Sharma’s earlier shows like Comedy Nights With Kapil and the earlier seasons of The Kapil Sharma Show. But in 2017, Sunil left the show after an incident where Kapil reportedly mistreated him during a flight from Melbourne. Sunil Grover, a well-known face in Indian TV, has also been in Bollywood movies like Bharat with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Pataakha with Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan, and had brief roles in movies like Ghajini and Gabbar Is Back.

Kapil Sharma started his TV journey with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (season 3) and became famous for hosting The Kapil Sharma Show.
