Raincoat  was one of the most underrated romantic Bollywood films.  You should definitely watch it with your bae! The woman ( Aishwarya Rai ) is unhappy in her marriage and the man ( Ajay Devgn ) is struggling to gather money for his business. They reminisce about the love they once had and still care about each other.

9. Cheeni Kum

Oh please! This should be on the top of your list. Watch it with BAE and thank us later. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu, the film was a fresh take on romance. A 64 –year –old man falls in love with 34- year –old woman. However, things get complicated when he meets the girl’s father who is younger than him.

10. Lamhe

The film was way ahead of its time. Lamhe is the story of a young man, Viren, who falls in love with a woman. He never confesses his love to her but has a special place for her in his heart. Years later, the woman passes away but her daughter who looks like her falls for Viren.  “Kabhi Mai Kahu, kabhi tum kaho” – play it on loop!

11. Hum Tum

The film was way ahead of its time.  The film didn’t receive a good response at the box office when it was first released. But it is one of the most loved Bollywood romantic films. Starring Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan, the film taught us  “Jo Tumhara hai, Tumhe Mil Jayega”.

12. Wake Up Sid
