A tourist from Delhi, who went to Agra, was brutally beaten by the devotees

A tourist from Delhi, who went to Agra, was brutally beaten by the devotees just because his car touched one of them while moving.


On Monday In Agra, a tourist from New Delhi came to visit the Taj Mahal, was chased and assaulted with rods and sticks by devotees just because his car touched one of them.

The incident was caught on a CCTV camera and had gone viral on Twitter, and most of the people who saw the video tagged Uttar Pradesh Police who informed that the Tajganj police station had  to take quick action against the case and five people were arrested. 

The incident took place in the Basai Chowk area in Tajganj, Agra and the clip was recorded by a CCTV camera, installed inside a sweet shop where the victim ran to save his life from the devotees.

The incident occured when the traveler‘s car touched one of the devotees and all of them started beating him allegedly even after apologising many times  to them. He entered the sweet shop to save himself but the attackers with sticks and rods followed him inside the shop. And there the whole incident was recorded in the CCTV footage.

He was very brutally beaten again and again by the attackers, and they didn’t stop even after he pleaded to them. 

In reply to the video of this incident, the police have taken action by arresting five people involved in the incident and search is on for the other attackers.
