Rahul Gandhi Welcomes New puppy to Delhi after his trip to Goa
In a heartwarming gesture, Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, recently made a personal trip to Goa, where he visited a dog kennel and found himself drawn to a delightful three-month-old Jack Russell Terrier. Overwhelmed by the puppy’s charm, he decided to bring the little canine companion back with him to Delhi.

Shivani Pitre, who runs the dog kennel in the serene town of Mapusa, North Goa, along with her husband Stanley Braganca, shared the delightful news. Rahul had previously sent his representative to inquire about the dog, but he wanted to see the pup in person before making the final decision.
On a pleasant Thursday morning, Gandhi arrived at the shelter at approximately 9 am while en route to Manohar International Airport in Mopa, North Goa. Despite his busy schedule, he took time out of his day to interact with the adorable dogs at the shelter. Shivani Pitre described him as a humble and down-to-earth person, genuinely enjoying the company of the dogs.

In a touching act of compassion, Mr Gandhi not only adopted one cute little furry friend but also chose another one from the kennel. The second pup will be sent to him later, ensuring that both of these furry friends find a loving home with the Congress leader.

During his visit to Goa, Gandhi also met with various Congress leaders, including local MLAs and the Goa Pradesh Congress committee president, Amit Patkar. It seems that the trip was a blend of both personal relaxation and political engagements.
