Veena Developers, in an official statement, refuted all accusations made against them and characterized the First Information Report (FIR) as containing baseless allegations and factual inconsistencies. The company pointed out that the complainant was a “willful defaulter” who failed to meet the sales agreement terms. They reiterated their commitment to transparency and accountability and expressed confidence that the truth would emerge as the case unfolds. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has initiated an investigation into the matter and assured that appropriate action will be taken. As of now, no arrests have been made, according to a Mumbai Police official.
