Two terrorists from Pakistan were neutralized by security forces in Kupwara district, J&K, during an infiltration attempt near the Line of Control in the Kumkadi area of the Machil sector in North Kashmir. The operation was conducted jointly by the Army and the police based on intelligence input provided by the Kupwara Police.

Counterterrorism Success Is Two Down

During the ongoing operation, two terrorists have been eliminated so far. Security forces have also successfully recovered significant arms and ammunition from the encounter site, including two AK rifles, four AK magazines, 90 rounds of ammunition, a Pakistani pistol, a pouch, and ₹2,100 in Pakistani currency.
