Haryana’s Nuh District on High Alert: ‘Shobha Yatra’ Security Amid Denial by Sarv Jatiya Hindu Mahapanchayat

 

Amid a call by Sarv Jatiya Hindu Mahapanchayat for a Shobha Yatra in Nuh district, heightened security measures have been implemented despite denied permission. Police, paramilitary forces, and drones are in place to maintain vigilance, with increased security at borders. Nuh’s markets were closed in anticipation of the yatra.

Security Measures Amid Tensions:

The administration closed schools, and banks, suspended mobile internet, and imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144. This follows earlier communal clashes after a VHP procession was attacked, resulting in fatalities. The Sarv Jatiya Hindu Mahapanchayat called for the Brij Mandal Shobha Yatra’s resumption on August 28, though permission was denied. Security checks are in effect, and locals express willingness for a peaceful procession without provocative slogans.
