Delhi Police Caught A Contract Killer After Shootout In Rohini

Special force nabbed Kamil, a contract killer who is involved in the murder of Mohammad Samer at Jama Masjid

Special cell of Delhi police arrested a contract killer from outer parts of Rohini after the Shootout Jama Masjid 

The special cell of Delhi Police on Thursday arrested a 30-year-old contract killer, identified as Kamil who is involved in the recent firing and assassination case in Jama Masjid. After a harsh gunfight with the special cell in Rohini, officers who were involved in the operation said.

The contract killer is known by his first name Kamil, who is a member of the Meerut gang run by the gangster Arif in Uttar Pradesh.

Shiv Kumar, inspector of the special cell force, said that 5 bullets were exchanged between the criminal and special cell team. Three rounds were fired by Kamil at the police team, after that police fired 2 rounds . One bullet hit his leg, after that police seized an automatic Turkish Zigana pistol from Kamil which was used in the Jama Masjid shootout. 

Senior police officer said that Kamil is involved in more than dozen heinous cases and was the main shooter in the murder of  31-year-old Mohammad Sameer. He was shot dead by a bunch of attackers at Jama Masjid, where Kamil was appointed on a contract killing operation.

The special task team laid a trap near Rohini Sector 29-30 on 6 July, Thursday, after being told that Kamil would pass the area on a motorcycle. The team spotted him on a bike and asked Kamil to surrender. After that, he started firing at the police team to escape from the spot, but the special cell caught him and set an inquiry on him.
