AAP and Congress have issued three-line whips to their members to be present in the House. I.N.D.I.A’s floor leaders strategized in Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge’s office.

The ruling party seems to have the support of Biju Janata Dal and YSRCP, which may help the bill’s smooth passage in the upper house.

Opposition Alliance’s Strategy:

The opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A, led by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has opposed the bill and walked out during the previous vote. AAP has issued a three-line whip to its Rajya Sabha members to be present for the upcoming discussion. Meanwhile, Congress and I.N.D.I.A leaders have strategized at Mallikarjun Kharge’s office to decide their floor tactics.

Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm due to the clashes between the opposition and the ruling party.
