In UP’s Ghaziabad 2 men killed a 19-year-old boy after his shoulder brushed theirs

A class 12 student was thrashed to death by two men merely because his shoulder brushed theirs when they were walking in a lane in Ghaziabad’s Lal Kuan location last Monday at midnight.

Police stated Vinay Yadav was killed when he was on his way from the eatery in Lal Kuan place of Ghaziabad.

Vinay Yadav, 19, was meters away from home when the incident took place at about 1am on Tuesday. Police said they’ve accessed the CCTV pictures in which the 2 men are visible, but not recognized yet. They are seen punching and kicking Yadav. His two relatives who had been accompanying him tried to interfere but failed to save him.

According to his father Raju, Vinay was helping his father on his roadside eatery when Vinay was on leave from school.

“Vinay after shutting the eatery at about 1am (Tuesday) was going home together with his brother Pushpendra, 25, and cousin, Bobby Singh, 40. Our residence is just 100 metres from the hotel. Vinay brushed the shoulder of the 2 men coming from the other side of the road…” Raju said.

The two men took offense to it and started beating Vinay.

“They punched and repeatedly kicked him before fleeing, leaving my son unconscious. The two rushed Vinay to a hospital in Ghaziabad but doctors said he was dead,” Raju Yadav said, insisting that his son did not have any enmity with anyone. “He didn’t while away his time and if he wasn’t studying, he would help us,”

An FIR has been lodged by the police in this case, the accused are not captured yet.
