Tina Dabi, secured rank one in 2016 UPSC examination is all set to tie the knot with IAS Officer Pradeep Gawande. Both Civil service officers announced their engagement on their instagram handles. According to a report by livehindustan, the couple’s big day is on April 22 and the venue will be the pink city, Jaipur. Pradeep Gawande is three years senior to Tina and is a 2013 batch IAS Officer. He is currently serving as Director, Archeology & Museums, Rajasthan, the report said.
Tina and Pradeep looked happy and deeply in love in the pictures posted on their social media. However, this news left many upset on social media and they started trolling Dabi for the same.

Tina Dabi was previously married to IAS Athar Khan who secured second position in the examination into the same batch Dabi topped. The couple had hit the headlines in 2016 when Tina announced her relationship through a social media and were hailed for communal harmony by many but trolled for Love jihad by some.
Tina was brutally trolled on social media for marrying a Muslim boy and Hindu Mahasabha even issued a notice to stop the marriage. They offered Athar to adopt Hinduism. However, the couple registered their marriage then under Special Marriage Act. This allows both maintaining and practicing their respective religion without conversion.
Athar Aamir Khan and Tina Dabi got married in April 2018 in Kashmir’s Pahalgam. However, their marriage did not last longer and due to personal reasons the duo decided to separate mutually. They had announced their separation in November 2020. Their divorce was finalized in August 2021 after an order passed by a Jaipur court.

Trollers age-shamed Tina Dabi’s fiancé, called him Buddha
As Tina announced her engagement with IAS Gawande many people again trolled her by calling her to-be husband Buddha. Tina and Pradeep shared an age gap of 13 years; trollers are questioning Dabi’s choice and continuously comparing her past with the present.
A percentage of people are lauding her step to give a second chance in love but with a communal angle. We found twitter is pitting on the topper IAS and claiming her to be the victim of love jihad earlier but now back to the real life.

However, Tina and Athar never mentioned grounds of their divorce, nor the former cried being the victim of love jihad. Still, trollers are busy cooking up stories for her.

The very first time Tina came under the radar of trollers was when she topped one of the most difficult examinations of India. Yes, somebody got trolled for being too intelligent. Tina was alleged for enjoying the victory because of her SC/ST quota. However, her application through the SC category was used as a plank to negate her success and concluded to be ill informed and casteist.

It is sad to know that a young civil servant is often trolled for her religion, choices, caste and personal life, which is not at all related to her professional life. Tina Dabi is among one such IAS who has always been controversial and in the radar of trollers. Her hard work, mental peace, and work as an IAS officer has always been ignored. This resulted in Dabi having to keep her comment section off in order to stay at par from the unwanted advice.
Whether it is IAS, Artist or any person, society needs to understand THEY ARE HUMAN TOO, mental peace par unka bhi haq hai.
