Incharge of Sharda barrage international police station said that services have been suspended 27 years back in the wake of the Indo-Nepal Trade and Transit treaty.

People from both sides of borders are very happy with this new bus service. About eight to ten thousand Nepalese travel from these buses on the daily basis.

The air conditioned buses with both Indian and Nepalese flags printed on their bodies will enter the Kanchanpur at 6 am.
