The reigning government on Thursday cut the price of petrol by Rs. 0.89/liter and diesel by Rs. 0.49/liter.
The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. decided to affect the price change from the midnight of July 30.
Petrol and Diesel price cut in India
So, with reference to the change, petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs. 64.76/liter whereas Diesel will be priced at Rs. 54.70/liter.
The level of international prices of petrol and diesel and INR and USD exchange rete decide the increase and decrease of the selling price of the fluid and the impact if further passed to the consumers with revision.
