Is there a New Cold War brewing at the UN

At the United Nations on Monday Russia and the US were seen squaring off in their speeches over how the Syrian crisis has evolved. The Refugee crisis has already engulfed Europe and many other countries into a boxing match bringing out their old hatred that has existed since World War 2.




France, Iran, Russia and the US were at loggerheads as other world leaders watched the war of words exchanged among each other. In which a common consensus of the present problems of Syria had to be contained and reform for a transitional Government to take place over the controversial Bashar al- Assad.  It has already exploded for the world to see the various cases of mass atrocities being unfolded. Taking advantage are the various self interest groups already occupying  Syria.

In which The Syrian refugees are not fleeing a war, but the current regime that had created it. The President of France, F. Hollande retirated “However, I see people are using their efforts to include Bashar al-Assad. He is part of the problem, he cannot be part of the solution.

The French President assured a pledge a 100 million euros to help the refugees and other African countries who are helping in their refugees transit centers. In which 80% of the poor refugees are heading south to other African nations.
