India- Egypt step up their security cooperation to deal with ‘Terrorism and Radicalism’

According to a report, India and Egypt today decided to step up their security cooperation so that they can effectively deal with twin challenges of terrorism and radicalism as PM Modi held talks with Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al -Sisi to discuss it.

Notably both the nations are engaged in fighting terrorism, the two leaders indentified the menace as one of the greatest threat and decided to combat it by boosting their security cooperation between both the nations.

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi said that both the countries agreed on an action oriented action to drive the engagements in a range of sectors apart from deciding to expand defence trade.
