Southeby has recently auctioned a 12.03 carat blue diamond called “Blue Moon” for a record $48.5 Million. The diamond is set in a ring, and is said to be the largest fancy blue diamond discovered so far.
The diamond has been bought by Hong Kong Billionaire Joseph Lau for his daughter Josephine. Due to this, the diamond has now been christened “Blue Moon Josephine.”
