After 20 years India might need 1,850 new planes

Indian Airlines, in 20 years may need 1,850 new planes which approximately worth $265 billion.

This requirement is forecast by Boeing on Tuesday in its CMO (annual Current Market Outlook) released. President of Boeing India and Vice President of Boeing International Trading who handles marketing too, Dinesh Keskar says “India continues to have a huge commercial aerospace market and the highest domestic growth in the world”

Single-aisle planes will continue to be demanded. So, will cover the major share of new deliveries, with airlines in India needing approximately 1,560 airplanes.

The preferred ones in the category according to Boeing forecast will include Boeing Next-Generation 737 and 737 MAX and Airbus A320neo. These new planes will support the growth of low-cost airlines and replace the ageing feet of incumbent carriers.
