Lenovo is all set to launch Moto G5 in India tonight at an event in New Delhi. The launch will be live streamed, starting 12:15 PM IST. Moto G5 starts at a price of Rs. 11,999 which is less than Moto G5 Plus. Moto G5 was showcased in the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona with Moto G5 Plus.

In March, Lenovo launched the Moto G5 Plus in India in two variant: 32 GB with 4 GB RAM and 16 GB with 3 GB RAM. The first version comes with a price of Rs. 16,999 and second version comes with a price of Rs. 14,999.

In terms of specifications, Moto G5 smartphone comes with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1930 pixels and 5.0 inches full HD touch screen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This smartphone is powered by1.4 GHz snapdragon 430 processor. It will be available in two variants: 16 GB memory with 2 GB Ram and 32 GB memory with 3 GB RAM and it is expandable up to 128 GB.

It runs on the latest Android version v7.0 and it is powered by a 2800mAh removable battery. It has the 13 megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 and 5 megapixel secondary camera with f/2.2. It has the fingerprint sensor front mounted.

Moto G5 will be available in various colours like Lunar Grey, Fine Gold, and Sapphire Blue.
The upcoming smartphone Moto G5 will come in direct competition with the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

Previous Year, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus were launched together in India in May at a starting price of Rs. 13,499.
Coming to the price, the Moto G5 is priced at Rs 11,999. It might be a disappointment for those customers who recently purchased Moto G5 Plus.
