Google Earth

The Google Earth has previously relied on images from a Landsat 7 satellite, nut unfortunately it encountered a hardware problem that further resulted in large diagonal gaps in the pictures.

According to Chris Herwig the program manager, Google Earth creates an unobstructed view of the surface of Earth by analyzing millions of images and also by stitching together the clearest bits.

Google Earth is a part of free online mapping services which is offered by California-based Alphabet.
