50 percent of California’s energy requirments will be met by renewable sources by 2030. A Law has recently been passed in this Western state of USA with the signature of state Governor Jerry Brown being appended to it.
According to this law, not only will 50 percent of energy consumed by the state be have to be generated from renewable sources, but also that buildings will have to be doubly energy efficient by the same year.
