The ‘Kanyakumari to Kashmir’ run being undertaken by Australian athlete and former member of Australian Parliament Pat farmer, aimed at raising funds for education of Indian girls and also strengthening ties between India and Australia.
This marathon run began from kanyakumari on January 26. Farmer also said that India is glorious country with unique and colorful art forms.
Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim and Superintendent of police Sharnappa welcomed farmers.
