However, this has not deterred nature from taking over, slowly making it into a nature preserve. Animals like wolves, elk, wild boar and deer along with other fauna are not only living, but thriving in this region, unfazed by the no-habitation notification issued by us humans.

The region, spread over 4200 sq. km was most severely affected when Chernobyl reactor’s core melted, causing massive radiation leak, whose nuclear clouds threatened not only this area, but large parts of the world too.
