The biggest plus point of the Lenovo A6000 is the 4G LTE capability. LTE is a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals. Although, currently, the 4G services have only been made available by Airtel in limited circles, the company believes that there will be over 200 million users on the 3g and 4g networks by 2018.

The Lenovo A6000 is a feature packed smartphone. Running on the 4.4.4 version of Android Kit Kat with a Vibe UI 2.0 skin, the phone provides a pleasant and fun user interface. The Lenovo A6000 features a 5.0 inch HD display which is sharp but susceptible to fingerprints. The A6000 has 1GB of RAM and a 64-bit 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. It also comes with 8 GB total storage space, which users can expand via a micro SD card (up to 32 GB). Lenovo’s A6000 also has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.

The device comes with a 2300 mAh removable battery which provides up to 13 hours of calls and 11.5 days of standby time, as claimed by the company. This is very impressive for a device under the price range of 10k. The A6000 is a dual-SIM smartphone and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. It supports the TDD band 40 and FDD band 1, 3, 7 and 20, which means it would support a variety of LTE networks, both in India and overseas.

The Lenovo A6000 will be exclusively available on Flipkart from the 28th of January.
