According to a report , physicists have announced the discovery of gravitational waves, ripples in spacetime.
It was first predicted by Albert Einstein in 1916 as a part of his theory of relativity.
Interestingly, this discovery would help the scientists to explore the theory of the formation of universe, that was called Big Bang by Albert Einstein.
Notably, the early universe was opaque to electromagnetic but not to the gravitational waves.
