2. Banno Tera Swagger is 2015’s biggest chartbuster, was it difficult to sing the song?

Not really because I enjoyed the song while dubbing. The type of lyrics it has, a lot of enthusiasm was needed. The only difficulty was the accent but I am glad that everything went out well.

3. So, how did you get this break?

To be honest, I was working very hard. I was doing scratches for music directors and then I met Tanishk and Vayu, the music directors for Banno. They asked me to do a scratch for Banno and by god’s grace, it got finalized.

It’s nearly impossible to answer this question because all that I know is singing. But yes, watching movies in my leisure time also interests me.

For my success, I would like to give credit to the almighty up there and my family down here. It’s all because of their trust and support that I have been able to fulfill my dream.

Not really, right now, I am just focusing on my singing.

When I talk about childhood, I must say they were my golden days. My parents are really supporting. Since, my childhood they have supported me at every stage of my life. I can clearly recall the day, when for the first time, I approached my dad to tell him that I want to pursue a career in singing and he made sure, that I got the best training!

9. How much time do you dedicate to your Riyaaz?

I have learnt classical music from my Guru Pankaj Maharaj ji and I am still learning. I have taken Sangeet Visharad degree from Prachin Kala Kendera, Chandigarh.

One of the lessons that my Guru has taught me is to do my Riyaaz like a meditation; without bothering about the time or hours spent on it. So, I never calculate the time I spend in my Riyaaz and thus, it gives me peace from within.

10. Last but not the least, is there any future project pipelined?

Yes, of course I have projects like ‘Direct Ishq,’ ‘1.31.7 Flame’ etc. In which people would hear me in completely different style. There will be m0re of romantic songs and also some soft rock. So, till then I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Well, this was all from Swati, who’s soon going t0 surprise you all with her upcoming numbers, till then just wait and stay tuned to One World News.
