So finally after a long fight today Bombay High Court allowed women to enter inner sanctorum of the Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai.
Notably the court has also asked the government to provide necessary protection to the respondents.
The ban was imposed in year 2012 by the Haji Ali Dargah citing the religious traditions.

Triputi Desai the women activist has welcomed the verdict and called it historic.
However, the trust of the shrine is expected to appeal in the Supreme court for the same that’s why High Court’s verdict has been put on hold for six weeks.
