According to a report, after an assessment of private sectors nation wide it has been found that there were 2.2 million cases of TB in year 2014, which is two or three times higher than the estimates.
Notably the study was conducted by Imperial College of London’s researchers, owed to private healthcare providers, who often fail to report Tb cases to public officials.

TB is a bacterial disease and it is important to take its treatment from atleast 6 to 9 months even if the patient gets relief in few weeks but mostly people leave it in between, which further becomes dangerous.
So one should do not leave treatment in between because it could be dangerous in longer run.
