President Pranab Mukherjee will today honor 56 prominent personalities with prestigious Padma awards.
In the civil investiture ceremony, which will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Pranab Mukherjee will give away five Padma Vibhusan, eight Padma Bhushan and 43 Padma Shri Awards.
The first list of awardees includes Late Dhirubhai Ambani, Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Jagmohan, actors Anupam Kher and Ajay Devgan, badminton star, Saina Nehwal , celebrated chef Mohammed Imtiaz Qureshi and known filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar.
The event will soon start and these prominent people will get applauded for their hard work they did to attain these positions.
