Now Delhi metro will have all-women combat groups

In order to ensure greater security to women commuters, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has decided to deploy an all-women combat group in the Delhi metros.

This decision has been taken in regard of the cases of molestation registered at Metro police stations. The announcement was made by CISF on International Yoga Day.

According to reports, the all women combat group is especially trained to fight in narrow enclosures, like the metro trains, with multiple opponents using a combination of Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, a Filipino martial art.
