NDRF team helped 3 women to deliver babies safely in Bihar!

Bihar is going through its toughest period this time and we pray that everyone safely come out of this period.

While involved in search and rescue operations in flood-ravaged Bihar, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel helped three marooned pregnant women to deliver their babies safely.
Vijay Sinha, Commandant of 9th battalion said that in Birpur, NDRF men delivered a baby on board the rescue boat in Raghopur block of Vaishali district. That’s so nice!

Roshini experienced labour pain while being ferried to a safer place following which NDRF pharmacist Jayshankar acted quickly and delivered a healthy baby boy.

Sinha said that the new-born and the mother were further taken to Mahnar primary health centre for further care. Not only this on the same day, the NDRF personnel helped two more marooned pregnant ladies in distress.

Flood has created huge problem for the people living in Bihar but thanks to rescue team who are doing their work so passionately.
