Kashmir again under Curfew

Curfew has once again been re-imposed in altogether nine police stations of Srinagar city and in various main towns of the Valley ahead of the proposed protest call given by the separatists in Kashmir.

Curfew restrictions will be in place in Nowhata, Shaheed Gunj, Mehraj Gunj, Soura, Kralkhud ,Batmaloo Khanyar, Shaigudi and Kothibagh police stations of Srinagar.

Restrictions will also be in place in Baramulla , Pulwama, Bandipora, Anathnag, Ganderbal, Kulgam, Shopian, and Kulgam Districts of Kashmir.

These restrictions have been imposed after proposed protests by separatists after Friday prayers in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Army Staff General DS Suhag will be on day long visit of the Valley. He will be also visiting forward areas of the LoC to assess the ground situation.

Army Chief will be meeting J-K Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti during his visit to the Valley.
