According to a report, government will soon set up two committees to hire the retire bureaucrats as consultants in various Ministries and departments.
PMO Jitendra Singh said that bureaucrats and civil servants were tools of governments and sometimes it’s important to appoint retired bureaucrats to get good governance.

He further added that the appointment of bureaucrats will affect the morale of serving officials or employment opportunities for the youth and moreover they will bring the expertise, which will increase the overall efficiency.
He said that the Ministries and Departments may have hired external professionals for specific jobs.
