Almost half of the population aged 6-14 years do not go to school in India. These are the worst states according to survey in which kids are not living the life which they should –

- Uttar Pradesh – 23.2 %
- Assam – 23%
- Meghalaya – 22.7%
- Himachal Pradesh – 22.6%
- The best state is Lakshadweep where only 5.8% kids are kept away from school life.

- Kerela : 6.8%
- Tamil Nadu – 7.7%
- Andaman and Nicobar Island – 8.4%
India has 233.6 million of population in the stated age group and 29 states following UT, out of them no state gives a 100% kids attending school statistics.
In fact Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan figured out to almost 50% kids’ not going school!
