India Army Releases Video Showing Destruction of Pakistani Post Across LoC

The Indian Army has released an audio visual of the destruction of a Pakistani militarypost across the Line of Control (LoC). This move follows increased tension and cross border communication between India and Pakistan. The video posted by the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG PI) of the Indian Army on X, social Media platform, is the first official video evidence of India retaliation after recent skirmishes, which escalated due to refusal to issue the cease fire demand.

The footage, filmed with the lens of a telescope, is of a projectile hitting and destroying the structure, which was reported to be a Pakistani military post. Even though the exact location of the intended post has not been revealed by India’s army, the posting of the video highlights response by India to what it calls unprovoked attacks as well as violations of ceasefire by the forces from Pakistan.
In its valedictory comments to the video, Indian Army said that the oppressive forces of Pakistan attacked repeatedly with drones and other munitions across the entire western boundary in the night between May 8 and May 9, 2025. It also reported that Pakistani troops went to excessive lengths to violate ceasefires along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir. The Army stressed – such drone attacks were successfully repelled and a proper response was given to the violations of ceasefire.

According to sources anti-tank guided missiles may have been used to attack the Pakistani military posts. The destruction of these posts forms part of India’s “Operation Sindoor” that was initiated after the recently the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and cross border firing and drone incursions from Pakistan.

After over 50 Pakistani drones had been neutralized by Indian air defense units, the Indian Army presented this video as a direct eyewitness of the operation and thus India’s tough stance against the escalating tensions was further emphasized. The video also confirms that the Indian Army continues to be the defender of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by visualizing the situation and the resolution of the relevant issues by the Army and coercive reactions to such actions to the other party.

It is important to note that the video was shared by the Indian Army, and that this is a remarkable move and a decisive development that exposes the actual situation of the conflict at the LoC and the Indian Army’s tough stand against the increasing tensions. More importantly, the video reinforces the Indian Army’s declaration that they are dedicated to the protection of the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and that all ill-intended designs are going to be met with strong action, besides the verbal commitment.
