Bollywood actor Govinda has responded to the widespread attention surrounding his recent visit to Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja with his Roopa co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar. Speaking to ANI, Govinda explained that his visit with Komal was linked to his upcoming movie Roopa. He said he had gone to Lalbaugcha Raja to pray for the film as he prepares to begin a new phase of his career after a long gap.

Govinda Says Visit Was for Roopa Film
The Bollywood actor said his primary reason for visiting Lalbaugcha Raja was to seek blessings for Roopa. The upcoming film will feature Govinda alongside Komal Rani Swarnkar and is being positioned as his return to the big screen after an extended absence.

While explaining his decision to visit the religious site with a co-star, Govinda referred to his earlier experiences with Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon.
Govinda said he had previously visited temples with Karisma Kapoor and associated those visits with good fortune for their films. He similarly recalled visiting with Raveena Tandon. According to him, visiting with Komal Rani for Roopa followed a similar practice of seeking blessings for a new project.
