How often a bra should be changed?

A Bra typically lasts approximate 25 washes. The minute the straps loose elasticity or the cups don’t fit well, it’s time to shed your bra. Avoid using the same bra often, and have a selection, so that no piece gets overused and it has time to come back to shape before it gets used again.

What sort of Bra is recommended for Pregnant and Nursing women and also, for women who have small and heavy bust?

During pregnancy the size of bust keeps changing. Pregnant women should avoid using pushups and underwired products, as that may restrict the natural growth which can happen.Small bust women should wear full cover bras so that they look more shaped and the tiny structure is not exposed. For Big busted women they can go for Demi cups.

Women with large cups sizes believe that padded bras are not for them, as it adds a cup size. However good brands use 2mm padding which gives a seamless and smooth look required for all cup sizes. When you wear clingy tops, the shape of the breasts underneath is easily understandable in a normal, unpadded bra. Thus, the need to wear padded bras.

What are the factors to be looked for while choosing a bra?

Firstly the size has to be as per your measured size and has to fit you perfectly. The clothing needs to be kept in mind. Choose a seamless t-shirt bra for a day out, a multi-way which can be worn 6 ways as a one stop shop for your occasion wear.

The choice of silhouette also depends on the structure and shape of your body. Apart from the style of clothing the cup shape in Full cover, Balconette or Demi should be chosen based on the width of the shoulder and neckline.

Is there any specification for women suffering from certain back and neck diseases?

A badly fitted bra does not only spoil the look of your overall appearance, it could give you backache, muscle tension and even headache. If the band of the bra digs into you and creates back-fat bulges or red marks on your torso, it’s too tight and you need to move up a band size. So please wake up and take your bra seriously.
