According to a report, Panama papers have been leaked and the data has shown offshore accounts of the rich and the famous.
The International Consortium of Investigative Journalism, which is a non- profit organization based in Washington, has revealed that cache of 11.5 million record detailed the offshore holdings of a dozen current and former world leaders. The list also includes businessmen, criminals, celebrities and sports stars.
The 100 media groups, which were into the investigation has described as one of the largest such probes in history. It has revealed the hidden offshore dealings n the assets of around 140 political figure.
Shockingly, the list has the names such as Barcelona forward Lionel Messi and the secret offshore dealings of aides of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The data was leaked by an anonymous source, who requested for no monetary compensation but asked for an unspecified security measures, according to a report.
