The Andhra Pradesh government admits that Microsoft will launch a Centre of Excellence in Visakhapatnam as part of its digital enclosure drive in the state, besides sharpening aim on increasing production.
Microsoft India has signed agreement with the state government in employment and use of information and communications technologies to offer better services to people in the state.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu organised a breakfast meeting for Satya Nadella, who is currently on a trip to Hyderabad at his residence on Monday.
The meeting continued for 80 minutes, during which Nadella assured the state government support in utilisation of cloud data for improving citizen services.
