Kerala has become first state in India to achieve 100 percent primary education. Mohammad Hamid Ansari, the vice president has officially declared the 100 percent primary education status achieved by Kerala.
According to the daily newspapers, Education Minister of Kerala, PK Abdu Rabb had said that Kerala had become the first state in the country to achieve primary education. According to him this had been achieved through the primary education equivalency drive of the state literacy mission.
Kerala shows how education is important for them. Schools and colleges are mostly administered by the government, trusts and individuals.
