Historic peace accord with Nagaland’s NSCN (I-M) signed
It is Asia’s longest running conflict for almost six decades.
The government and NSCN (I-M) have been locked in a ceasefire for almost eighteen years and the peace accord sign in Delhi on Monday brings together the determination of statesmanship in recognizing the principles of sovereignty lies with the people.
The details of the peace deal has not been released. However it brings a solution to the litigious issues that has marked the Naga group and brings peace in the region.
