The Online food ordering company Foodpanda will stop food delivery in six cities, including Kolkata, Chennai, Nagpur and Coimbatore.
The layoffs ordered on Monday covered all business sectors like sales, marketing, vendor services etc.

Foodpanda delivers 20% of its total orders on its own. The rest is outsourced to vendors, who pick up and deliver food items.
Foodpanda is one of the leading online foods ordering centre of the world .it is available across India, Brazil, Russia, South-east Asia and Eastern Europe. It has increased almost $310 million since its start in March 2012.
