Dutee Chand, the 20 year old athlete who was a part of the 2016 Rio Olympics is back on the track again and has already had her first win.
The athlete represented the Central Railway in the All India Railway Athletic Meet being held in Anna Stadium in Tirchy.
She ran the 100 metres race in 11.65 seconds and won the Gold for it. Her home state, Orissa has honoured her with the position of assistant general manager in the Orissa Mining Corporation for making it to the Olympics.
The Olympic athlete said that she has “always faced tough competition from athletes in Southern Railway.”
