Diwali Bumper: FREE roaming around India!

Vodafone is all set to treat you with Diwali Bumper gifts

Vodafone is all set to treat you with bumper Diwali gifts:- Vodafone today has announced that it will be making its incoming calls free for customers, who are on national roaming.

This scheme will start this Diwali. After this all Vodafone customers, who are travelling somewhere out of their telecom circle will be able to receive incoming calls free without having the need to get a special roaming pack.

The Customer Director says

“For Vodafone, the customer is at the heart of everything that it does and it is an ongoing endeavor to come up with unmatched value and convenience for customers, who often travel across the country. Even though outgoing charges while roaming had become comparable to home charges, a research based on the consumers has shown that incoming charges while roaming have been a obstacle to worry about free usage,” stated Sandeep Kataria, Director-Commercial, Vodafone India.

Kataria added “With our newly launched International Roaming Daily pack which makes International Roaming worry free, we are now confident that the customers of Vodafone India will not be holding back conversations while travelling nationally or internationally on Vodafone SuperNet.”

Celebration time for Vodafone and its customers

Vodafone explains that this initiative is a part of the company’s celebration for having achieved their goal of 200 million customers, however it largely looks like it is a move to counter the rise of Reliance Jio – which is reportedly adding around to 1.1 million users a day.

It was just in last week that Vodafone announced about increasing the data to almost double of monthly data for its subscribers on Vodafone Red plans. In addition to this increase in data, users can also enjoy a free subscription to Vodafone Play for a limited time. A Vodafone Red plan allows its postpaid subscribers to create a group of up to six people who share voice, SMS and Internet data. The plans start at Rs 499 for 1GB of data.

Also, last month, Vodafone had announced a free data plan that offers 10GB of 4G data to users at the price of a 1GB plan. The new scheme is being offered in circles where Vodafone offers its own 3G or 4G services and can be availed by both prepaid and postpaid customers till December 31, 2016.
